What exactly are they gonna do? I knwo they're gonna announce the Xbox 360 but will they show us what the games look like and how much it'll cost etc etc?

It's not contemptible from a business point of view, obviously. It's perfectly reasonable bla bla bla.

I find it contemptible because it's on MTV, and all the connotations of that.....

The majority of people who watch MTV have no idea what E3 is and are the sort of people who Microsoft are aiming the Xbox at. It makes sense, it's just good business.

A strong launch is very important. Retailers expect a strong effort, the industry is still mainly run by the retailers deciding what to stock and where.

It's still utterly contemptible though.

But yeah, a good strategy.
