The virus... how many emails have you all had containing the virus? I've had 15 so far, all locked in the virus checker "vault".

Not had any at home either, looked on our firewall this morning, first time since last Friday and saw about 1000 emails sat there waiting to be deleted :)

Alas, it is a Microsoft Java Debugger, not a virus. If you delete it that 'could' cause java to stop working, but I think if you redownload java that fixes it anyway.

haven't had one yet. I did though visit a site the other day which had a pop-up and one of them started a download which popped up for about 1 second or so, and I got a .txtfile but it was in a .html file

it had a whole load of garble in it with url of www.retardedcomputergeek.com or summat similar.

Wasn't sure if that was it or not.

My norton security suite 2004 arrived today.

£20 for an OEM copy, can't argue with that. :)

Yeah.

I actually thought back when I had the Mac that my antivirus thing wasn't working. So I deliberately loaded one from a disk to see if it was.

That was the day I discovered just how wonderful Norton was, at least back then.

No. None in 11.5 years online. I think that is fairly impressive, don't you?
