So quite simply, if I were to copy something, and wanted to modify on it/delete stuff from it/add more stuff to it at a later date, this'd be possible?

Or I could format the disc at a later date so it'd be as good as new?

Only if you use a program like INCD (makes CD-RWs act like floppies). Otherwise you have to remove everything and rewrite to change the contence. You can extra files using multisession, but older CD drives don't support it or read it.

I doubt you'd need to format it that often as you just delete the stuff you don't need

supposedly they fail after 1000 formats. Should be more that enough for most usage.

Depends what you use them for really, back-up or random things, like mp3 discs or something.

Because a cd-rw disc would be handy then, but not so for a back-up.

have any of you heard of ... bigpockets (dot) co (dot) uk ...they TELL you a lot about all this stuff quite informative and details of wholesale CD's and DVD's not branded though they only talk about unbranded stuff.

My cd-rw cost £1.70 each, which to be honest i think was a bit dear.
