project natal looks interesting and has some amazing features, But with no comfirmed release date (approx late 2010 - early 2011) and a price tag of £199+ its an expensive addon for an ageing console which is said to be replaced in 2011.
The wii took gaming to a new level with its motion sensor and project natal is definately gonna take it to a whole new level with its intelligent motion sensor, but is it an improvement to gaming, i dont think so.
Hands free racing just dont work for me, A force feedback steering wheel is a must for any racing game and a force feedback racing seat so you could feel accelaration and braking would be a gr8 improvement.
Fifa or Pro Evo, i dont think so, sliding across your carpet to tackle your opponent wouldn't b much fun, nor would falling backwards over the coffee table be much fun when trying to do tricks.
Shoot 'em ups (counter strike, call of duty etc) will always be best played on a PC with a keyboard and mouse.
even tho the gaming side of project natal does not appeal to me it does seem to be an amazing piece of kit, the reviews ive read say its very realistic with no delay in movement at all. The media control it offers look excellent too, bein able to scroll thro your music/film collection and select what you want to listen to or watch simply by pointing at your TV is wkd.
