Seems like it could be ok. Best thing to do would be to find digital camera review sites and see what they say about the camera. £165 from Amazon is a fair price for a 3mp 3x optical zoom camera.

Don't buy cheap cameras, buy ones that should cost what you pay for them. If it seems like a good deal, steer clear.

Get a Cybershot. Excellent quality cameras and value for money.

That doesn't look too bad, though. At least it has Optical zoom. But £146 *exc* VAT? Shop around - you can get it cheaper than that. Try Dealtime.co.uk - they should show a lower price.

Yeah I have a CyberShot DSC P71.

I have a DSC P92. It cost a fair bit but it's definitely worth it.

I have the Cybershot DSC-P72. Excellent camera for £187 off Amazon. In most online reviews i've seen they always given it praise and say its one of the best cameras in its range. Maybe have a look at this camera and compare it to the HP one. Also look at what Canon, Fuji etc can offer for the same sort of price.
