GameCube will be $150.00
The Japanese promos for GC are filtering out and on them GC is listed as launching July 21, 2001 in Japan at 17,800 yen which converted is about $153.00 US dollars. This proves GC will not be $200.00 as some have said and it also proves there will be no delay. Go here to take a look at one of the posters:

Id probably still get one if it cost £200... (although not if it costs $150 dollars in the US)...

However if its released at £150, I'd be hard pressed not to consider it a bargin...

I dont know why but if its that cheap I will be tempted to buy too, and walk past the PS2 price and say:

Nintendo of America has since mentioned it could be $150 so expect it to be the same over here but with £ instead of $ come on it is gonna be cheap especiall without DVD and instant Internet.

It is apparently cheaper to produce than the 64 and thats 70 quid so they should have no problem.

£150 was what I thought it was going to be. If it's £200 I might not bother, assuming that's without a game.

If Nintendo can afford to sell it at £100 I will be astounded (yet also very happy).

I wonder if consoles could work in the same format, like if you buy a N64 or PS2 abroad it would work on a PAL TV.
PAL and NTSC is just even more confusing, plus with more games being released we need more games developers in the UK!

I probably will get a Gamecube, I only hope that it is about £200, I would probably pay the £300 but only with some sort of a games package! I get about £130 a month from prt-time work sometimes a bit more depending, but I do want to get a Gamecube, I just love the way Nintendo consoles work, I don't really care about the loading times if there are any because after playing some of the 'lesser' PS2 games that I feel are worth the wait then I sure as hell won't mind playing Mario if I have to wait 15 seconds.

And I don't think that having to wait is the probalme it is just thinking about having to wait! But anyway...I am glad to hear that Dino Planet will be there for PAL release, I haven't heard about NTSC or whatever it is but hey,
