And how are they doing that? Well, whilst pursuing 4 suspected terrorists (they'd ran a checkpoint in their car), US troops managed to accidentally kill between 8-11 (depending on which report you read) Iraqi policemen, as well as the 4 suspects.

Hm...yeah, way to go boys! THAT will really encourage the people of Iraq to trust in the occupying coalition. I mean, there may well be more to it; maybe the policemen will turn out to be Saddam loyalists, who knows? But the fact is that the coalition are still behaving in a cack-handed and bullying fashion. That's not a recipe for lasting peace in Iraq, it's a recipe for disaster.

And people still wonder why the US is so widely hated?

Nope, i guess when those two british helicopters crashed into each other that was a figment of my imagination then. That to me was the stupidest moment of the war. I presume they're fitted with the latest hi-tech gadgets and radar systems plus the fact the pilots have eyes, how in the bloody hell can't you see a helicopter right next to you?

I have the misfortune to read it from time to time and every time i read it it seems like Mr Laden has taken over as editor.

*america evil, america to blame for all world trouble, a child dropped a crisp packet on the floor it's all america's doing!!!!!!!!*

So there you go Bush pop off to London, Osamas' been hiding in the Mirror's editing offices all this time.

Actually, that gives me a chance to make a point I was wanting to make for a while; has anyone read the Mirror since the war started? Man...it's SO horrifically partisan! As bad as the Sun, but coming at it from the opposite end (if you see what I mean).

As a mature reasonable adult, I'm sure he'll take it in the spirit that it was meant. :)

You know, I read Light's posts and by the end, I always have the feeling I'm reading something from the Daily Mirror. :D

But why were there 8-11 Iraqi policemen in one car? It must have looked like a scene from the Keystone Cops*.
