"Smackdown 3!!"

WWF Smackdown 3 has been announced for PS2 - First details released are that it will allow up to 9 characters in the ring at any one time, chance to interupt different wrestler entrances, 35 wrestlers yet to be finalised, running play by play commentary, about 72 match modes.
Nothing is confirmed as yet and the title may change before the game is finished - Sounds pretty damn good so far!!!

Mattyboy, you must be very rubbish at No Mercy to take 3 hours in a rumble. I can finish the 100 man survivor mode in a half-hour!

Oi! Smackdown 2 is good aswell. I hate Nintendo Magazine, they are so mean to Playstation. If you read a Playstation magazine you will not find any critcism towards Nintendo, and you even find some compliments (e.g the great N64 game Goldeneye), whereas if you read Nintendo Magazine the entire magazine is littered with abuse. I guess it's because Sony are so damn good they don't need to take the mick out of ohter consoles to sell well, whereas Nintendo do.

I read from somewhere else earlier that there is 35 match modes and 72 wrestlers - This sounds more realistic so obviously someone has got the wrong facts!!

That is the one problem I agree with in No Mercy - Too slow - It took me about three hours to complete a 40 man Royal Rumble - THREE HOURS!!! - I could have completed half a season on Smackdown 2 in that time!!

rite ant, so i takes you a couple of months to do 1 ladder match, u is a bit of a cripple, most of us can do it in bout 3 odd mins!!! and smackdown poo didnt come from NOM it came from me, problem!?

Only 35 wrestlers?? Not many.

errrrr....no. The aim is to win the Championship. And oh yeah, THE AMOUNT OF TIME IT TAKES TO DO 10 YEARS ON SMACKDOWN 2 IS THE SAME AS THE TIME IT TAKES TO DO A LADDER MATCH ON NO MERCY!!!!

I think a career mode where you can actually run in to other peoples matches and beat up people in the locker room would be good. But it would only work if that started a feud of some sort.

that would be awesome, a 2 player, tag team ,champiopnship where you can turn on eachother in a match and create a new storyline where you find new storyline.

(by the way cheese can u give me some tips on gameaday since you are a pretty good writer since i have only been going a few days.)

A co-operative Tag Team mode would have been nice on No Mercy. Just imagine seeing the storylines where you leave your parter for someone else, but with your partner being controled by a mate.

I agree about Smackdown, the single player takes longer to load than you actaually get playing.
