hat scene is basically an attempt to ridicule the overall belief system the people of this land follow, with a "my God is better than your God" attitude.
But, isn't religion like that anyway? The very fact that there is more than one God to speak of means that people surely make a conscious decision as to which one they'd rather put "faith" in.
Well, if that's the way everyone else wants to play it, from this day forward, I believe in the Almighty Mallard, an influential and warlike god of ducks with a following of enlightened, dark robed warriors, bearing scythes and living in a temple on a privately owned island in the carribean.

Strangely enough I was thinking about religion on Saturday evening as I attended a blessing. The church was quite full but we had to feel sorry for the vicar as we reckoned he was the only Christian in there.
Why in this day of waining worship do so many couples still get married in church. I have never understood the point.

The way I see it is that gods are subjective entities which can be used by the imagination to aid personal progression.
