Many a time have I rented a film suggested to me by other members of the forums, and more often than not, they've been worth seeing.
But now, those threads just don't seem to exist.
I don't get why, people still watch movies, don't they?
So come on folks, recommend a film you've seen lately. I'm not talking about those big blockbuster movies that everyone will know, but those hidden delights, which they only have one copy of in Blockbuster.
I haven't rented much lately, but thought that 'Frailty' was great for a bit of murder, and religious wacko stuff. Well, I liked it.
So, what would you recommend?
Western 'comedy' (I use this term loosely) starring Academy Award Winner Kirk Douglas as 'Cactus' Jack Slater, and Arnold Schwarzenneger as Handsome Stranger (yes, that's his character's name).
Cactus Jack pursues handsome Stranger across the wild west attempting to catch him via several tricks borrowed from Road Runner flicks, including painting a tunnel on the side of a cliff, and putting glue on a railroad crossing.
This film is the *worst* film that I have ever seen. Absolutely dire. But it is so terrible and so utterly bizzare (Arnie in the wild west?) that it is quite amusing.
Truly a film that must be seen to be believed.
