Just ordered my live starter kit now that ive finally got a card that they accept. Just wondering if you could recommend a few live games that I might be able to pick up on the cheap... all I have just now are Halo 2, Pro Evo 4, Doom 3, rainbow six 3 and star wars jedi knight something or other.

In fact, MS/Xbox Live have never taken any subscription money from me, because I buy new starter kits that are cheaper than the yearly fee and just add the code onto my existing sub. The only money that's gone on Xbox Live from my card is for Premium Downloadable Content.
Well I'm assuming you've met that criteria.
I honestly thought they accepted Credit Cards only, not even Visa/MC Debit.
It's crap that they don't, mind. I pay for WoW with a Switch card - that cost's more than Live subscription per year.

Mastercard (debit) which is why I emailed them about it in the first place they told me it would be accepted as long as:
It has more than £1 in it
It isnt restricted on internet-based subscriptions
Doesnt Expire in the same month and year as I sign up
It has more than £1 in it

Live Kit arrived, I went through the steps, CARD DECLINED. It met all the criteria and I was even told by a member of the Xbox Live Team that my card should be accepted. So now im stuck with a kit that I cant use and cannot send back seeing as I had to scratch the panel off.
Lesson Learnt Today: Never trust an Englishman called SANJEEV!

hmm, just been thinking about what my live handle should be, those who know me on battlefield will know I have an unhealthy fixation with ducks so no doubt it will revolve around that.

I would recommend Ghost recon 2 summit strike and ranibow 6 3 black arrow cos not many ppl play rainbow 6 3 and black arrow is really good although u might not want it as u hav the original rs3 also splinter cell chaos theory
id say the games you have there are probably the best ones for live.
