I know it's a RPG but thats about it, is it similar to any others? is it a big game? i know that 'lost chapters' is going to have more content but just wondering how much play you got out of the game.

Ouch, painful, but true ;).
All the good stuff they promised was left out, another hallmark of Lionhead :).
The reason i have played guild wars so much was because you get your healy monk or a elementalist with some hardcore powers, even though it is a bit light on the detail of chacters wise, it is pretty.
I'm getting fable but i think it will probably get a small amount of play next to dungeon siege 2.

You haven't played a decent RPG before then...
I made myself a weedy mage the second time through and hardly upgraded his health at all which forced me to play my character properly (hanging back and using spells) and not just battering everything like some super-human killing mage-chine on steroids. :D
Also if you want, you can upgrade your character's strength to max but only let him kill people with a stick (this is a rare game where doing that would actually be fairly fun).
I want difficulty settings/the game to adapt to how good I am at it.
