Exactly what I've just thought checking it out. Don't they want to sell products? If so, they should at least make it possible to actually buy them.

Unless you've bought the silver or gold HL2 package, you have to pay from what I gather. You can only register one copy of HL via steam though, and not buy DOD seperately, so I don't know quite how I'll be able to purchase it.
A little silly really.
