Thanks for the stating the obvious that graphics have improved over 2 years.

Some people need to be corrected now and again.
Besides, I think you're msising what I'm writing considering this post has nothing to do with waffle on rendered objects.
It's about opinions on Total Overdose.
Thanks all the same though.

I think this is the single most idiotic statement I've seen on this forums for a long time.
Yeah, 2003 was 'slightly blocky', it was hard to distinguish one block from another!

Correction, to a "geek" or "nerd" it was a stupid comment.
However, to an everyday person, it was a rational comment/question.
Example
Half Life 2 - Amazing Graphics - Runs extremely smoothly
GTA - Average Graphics - Doesn't run smoothly

Sorry sir, you're absolutely right.

Don't forget Gearbox softwares appalling conversion to PC of a then four year Xbox title in the form of Halo.

Sorry, that's utter balls. Look back at the advent of CD-Rom software. Was a game that came on 4 cd's better than a game that came on 1?
Not a chance.
[edit]Although Wing Commander 4 rocked, but I'd argue that by dropping the dodgy FMV, it could be squeezed onto 1 disk.
Same principal here. It's the quality of a title that counts, not the amount of space it takes up.
To suggest that because a game comes on DVD rom might somehow be a grade A title, is rubbish. It might just have a lot of poorly designed, repetative levels.
You're trying to dig yourself out of a hole now.
