OK, so to re-cap that's 17 games confirmed for launch. So all this "Nuh no titles yet" talk can stop being so tiresome and wrong.

To be fair, the one quote says it all.

Yeah, because 17 games just won't be enough...

Out of interest my '8 games' quote from gamespot was also taken from X05 and from an MS employee to boot.

Oh yeah and then there's the other 9 games comfirmed by the ACTUAL publishers as being ready for the launch.

Sorry to stop you clinging to your one quote from someone at MS but there you go.

From an interview with J Allard at X05:

Allard declined to offer any details of the 360's launch day software line-up but did confirm that Microsoft is hoping for "All three of the first party titles to be there on day one."

"We're hoping, though. We're not going to sacrifice quality to do it," he said.

"If something's not ready we'll hold it back... I mean these games are not far from being done, and if they're three weeks after the launch or they're on launch day I don't think it makes a significant difference."

Sorry to break your homecoming orgasm, peeps.

"Project Gotham Racing 3
Kameo
Perfect Dark Zero
Madden NFL 06
NBA Live 06
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06
Need for Speed Most Wanted
FIFA 06: Road to FIFA World Cup."

Out of that 8, 5 of them are EA games that we can play on the Xbox/PS2.

To be honest, most of them just seem like they're being released for the 360 rather than the Xbox.

Out of the list, I'd say about 5 were created for the 360.
