Any decent games coming out for Christmas? I only got two last year but im hoping to get about 4 this year providing they're good enough.

So, anybody got a few games in mind?

So far im thinking of:

- NBA Live 2006
- The new Ratchet game
- Resident Evil 4 (im not sure tho, cause I get scared so easily...) :(
- King Kong
- Need For Speed Most Wanted
- Battlefield Modern Combat
- Star Wars Battlefront 2
- The Warriors
- Prince of Persia : The Two Thrones
- Matrix Path of Neo
- Soul Calibur 3
- James Bond (the new one)

From what you listed, get:

- Resi 4
- Soul Caliber 3
- Battlefield Modern Combat

Also, think about Conflict: Global Terror

The last Resi I played was the first one on the PS1 and it scared the hell out of me. I didn't even like it, the controls were so awkward.

Resi Evil 4 has a first person view which would probably make the game better to control but even more scarier because you cant see behind you!

The most recent scary game i've played was Silent Hill 3 which completely scared the hell out of me and I have been put off scary games ever since. :(

Battlefield looks good, it obviously wount be as good as the PC version but as long it has a lenthy single player mode and decent online mode i'll get it.

I might buy Soul Calibur 3 a little while after Xmas because the price will go down very quickly.

I know it's "early code", but...

I played the demo of NFS:MW on the official mag coverdisc.

It stinks, big time.

Resi 4 is one awesome game - not first-person, though...

Jak X is on my Christmas list.

Anyone know a release date for Black?

Yeah that's true. If you havnt got it already, get Burnout Revenge. NFS "Bullet time" thing.....very bad.

It's not first person, but it's a bloody marvellous game though. Far, far better than any of its predecessors.

I'd give some consideration to Tony Hawks American Wasteland. Looks pretty sweet.

These are the ones I'm looking at for christmas. Will probably finally get Skies and Bard's Tale along with a few from the above list.

On top of all those, SOCOM 3, WWE 2006, Singstar 80s (no, really) springs to mind.
