So, if you're doing GCSEs, AS levels or A levels, talk about them in here.

HAH! Me and misterhappy had to do Keyskills last year. It was so pointless that the school has scrapped it this year... it was in operation for a full year at the school!

AHH! STEP 3 (the highest maths exam you can do!) tomorrow, and I'm really, really unsure about it! Here's a typical past paper qu:

"A stick, of length L, is broken randomly somewhere along its length. Find the probability that ratio of the length of the shorter stick formed, r, to the longer stick is less than R."

3 lines... 3 pages work! I'm screwed.

All I've got is a German exam on Thursday, and I'm freeeeeee...

Business never interested me, but Sociology did (well, to be honest I took it because I had to take another subject) It's darned interesting, but there's a LOT to learn, all the different views (Marxism, Functionalism etc) and then the individual sociologists who belong to those groups and what studies they've done, and what they found etc etc

If the question is on Marxism, I'm set, as all you need to know is that they blame EVERYTHING on Capitalism (even kids performing poorly at school)

This is a joke right? I could competently write an answer to that question without having done the subject! I could've got a B on that! DOH!

Mind you, I'd have faired a lot worse with the technical stuff- the economical MC=MR and supply demand things!

I had an English exam on "Handful of Dust" last week, and I fluked my way through that one...

I made two essay plans in the back of my book as a rough guesstimate of what they would ask, based on what they had already asked in previous exams (there's only so much you can ask about this book)

And both essays came up, so I rampaged through them and had about 5 minutes to spare, which was nice.

Only three exams to go now. Yay me.

Todays business studies exam for me was : "Here's a load of info on some made up company, write a report on how to improve his business", then loads of lined sheets of paper. First thoughts were "ARGGH!!! WHAT DO I WRITE!!!" so i started writing BS, and just kept on writing, did better than i thought!
