What about the PS2 then?

Let's look at the evidence, shall we?

1. Sony released updated drivers for the DVD remote. Excuse me?! If UPDATING DRIVERS isn't a PC thing, then I don't know what is!

2. You can buy LINUX for your PS2. This is just beyond belief. You can buy:

Linux (for PlayStation 2) version 1.0 software
Monitor Cable Adaptor
Internal Hard Disc Drive (40 GB)
Network Adaptor (Ethernet) [10/100 Base-T]
USB Keyboard & USB Mouse (for PlayStation 2)

Check out: http://www.us.playstation.com /product_detail/product_detail.jhtml?PRODID =337933&CATID=490 (SPACE!)

if you don't believe me.

Which console is nearest to a PC now, eh?

:-D

Oh can't forget Phantasy Star Online 1+2 out later this year.

Anyway at the end of the day I always get into these who's consoles better debates when I try not to. All the consoles are good for their own reasons, I prefer Gamecube to anything out there and no-one's gonna make me think otherwise.

Oh and anyone got a PS2 release list? I keep seeing the GC and X-Box lists about every 5 minutes but I see nothing from the SOny camp.

Oh and for YH here's a list as far as I can remember of GC exclusives.

Metroid Prime, Eternal Darkness, Mario Sunshine, Resident Evil, Animal Crossing, Wrestlemania X8, Die Hard : Vendetta, Pikmin, Starfox Adventures, Monkey Ball 2, Sega Soccer Slam. And they're all out by the end of the year.

Other exclusives to come in the next year are Zelda, F-Zero, Lylatwars, Wario World, Donkey Kong +, Kameo Elements of Power, Donkey Kong Racing, Mario Kart, Kirby tilt and tumble, Perfect Dark Zero, Killer Instinct, Mario tennis, Mario Golf, Mario Party 4, Sonic Adventure 3 and quite a few more that I can't remember.

They're all off the top of my head so I probably have missed quite a few out.

I don't see many exclusives there, but a good list if you like playing PC games but don't have the specs to play the game. Admittedly if these games appeal to you then it's a good system buit I don't see much variety the list mainly consists of 1st Person shooters and Army strategy games.

I'm not saying that the list is gonna make you run out and buy a GC if you already own another console, i'm just saying that the GC has got a packed release schedule.

Will do haven't got the time at the moment.

Okay now lets narrow that down to ones I would like to play:

Black and White (got on PC, very old)
Halo 2
Soul Calibur 2 (multi-format)

Three!
Yet there are 8-10 I want from the GC list. You see, thats why I bought a GC, there are more games on it I want. And you bought an X-box, because that has more games you want. It's quite simple isn't it? So how about we let this topic drift slowly to the bottom and be deleted.

What a minute, I'm confused, the X-box hasn't had any success! At least, nothing compared to the PS2 and Gamecube's success.
