They're back? I'm pretty sure many years ago we use to have them, then they disappeared, then the other day I saw them in Morrisons and today I see an advert on TV.

I'll get a pack on Thursday and try them out. Did you ever care for them Kawada and Garin (and possibly pb)?

[S][S](let me guess, one/some of you will tell me that they've always sold Oreos, well they haven't nationwide with TV ads before this week)[/S][/S]

Yeah, used to get them and Twinkies shipped over from an internet friend in the US at one point (back when the internet was all email chat groups and not a lot else.

Was nice to see Oreos in the shops a few years back, haven't noticed them disappearing, though. I think Twinkies would break several laws on calories per square inch though, they just seem like pretty much pure sugar in a handy package!

Talking about America and snacks, apparently Kinder Surprise are illegal in America. Some law about no chocolates with small bits in them. I think they might sell some but they don't contain toys only sweets, so not really a Surprise is it :/

Haven't seen Oreos in some time, if I remember correctly they were prety nice. Must go on the lookout.

Also, I wish Spunk energy sweets were sold over here. I guess the name prevents it, but they're pretty nice, best thing I discovered whilst I was in Denmark a few years ago...

I don't get Kinder Surprises. Aparently it's three surprises in one. One obviously is the toy, two is that the inside is white chocolate but kind of can't get the third.

I guess it's that the outside is brown, but it would have to be for surprise number two to work. What I would give for a little 50p chocolate egg to excite me nowadays...

...Adult Surprise?

At least you'd get something interesting in the middle.

True...

I miss exciting sweets. All I'm stuck with around hre is the usual adult muck. Bring back Kinder Surprises for adults, dibdabs in funny shapes and "wumpeechews"!

Preferably all tasting like beer!

Somerfield are selling them buy one get one free now. So they're really trying to promote them :) We got two packs today and I'm trying them now.

They're a bit messy compared to others, they don't crumble but you'll get specks of black all over your fingers. They taste nice but Im not sure if you lot will like them. Kinda reminds me of home made burnt biscuits lol.

It's not easy to twist a side off, sometimes the cream ends up on both sides or starts to break up. They do taste much better when you put two cream sides together though :) I saw on Wikipedia that they actually sold a version with double cream layers.

Overall I'll give it a 4 out of 5 thumbs up.

Never knew they'd disappeared in the first place. Fairly sure i've seen them plenty of times in the last year.

In many stores? You're not the only one who thought they never left but then there must be a reason why suddenly they're appearing in all our supermarkets with adverts on TV and promotions. But then you're in London you get probably get everything we dont :) You probably have Lucky Charms too you git!

I saw 10,000 BC yesterday, it's the only movie at the cinema I've ever actually fallen asleep in.
