I don't believe I have dragged myself away from that "Thing" its so damn addictive!

GameCube. Mine arrived today, and so did Rouge Leader (GAD Win Feb) I am very very pleased with SR. I would like to thank SR for getting my GC to me on release. Im delighted.

Ok, impressions.

I got a black one, its smaller than you imagine. The disks, their TINY! Its so wonderfully crafted and its full of Nintendo quality. If you have never held the controller, its amazing. It fits so well. I just played for 2hours straight and my hands are fine.

Its great to be back in business so to speak, I sold my N64 to my sis like 2months back and I have been waiting for GC ever since. And it didn't dissapoint at all.

Graphically I would say its on par with X-Box. I played Halo, and played Rouge Leader, if anything GC is better. The lighting is so good, its perfect, amazing, delightful, smashing. Its fandabbydotius!

The sound is crystal. I have had NO slowdowns at all and I have seen like, 100+ objects on Rouge Leader. Oh yeah, by the way, Rouge Leader is class. Action packed amazingness. Im not a Star Wars fan but this game is cracking. Loading times? Its as fast/faster than N64. You don't notice them at all.

Basically.

Round up.

Graphically its amazing, 10/10
Sound is top notch 10/10
SR for delivering it on time 10/10
Rouge Leader 10/10
No loading times 10/10
No slowdowns 10/10
Disk Size 10/10

Its a great console and im itching for another go on Rouge Leader! Only one problem, I dont have a memory card which is essential. Im going down town to get one tomorrow and I have £35 credit from SR (Thanks.) So any idea's for another game?

Im looking in RBS's direction because he had like 6 GAD GC games. Which one is the best? I want a racing game or something. SSBM any good? SMB? Burnout? Anyone got Burnout? Anyone with footy games? I need idea's.

If you haven't got a GC then buy one, if you have pre-ordered one and you haven't got it, then pray it comes soon because I couldn't live without my baby, my GameCube.

Im going to play on Rouge Leader again now, the explosion effects are sweet, the scream of the TIE fighters is spine chilling. I haven't got past the first level yet, I can get to the trench and Darth Vader comes, how do I kill him? That black caped son of a gun! Eat my laser fire!

GC is breathtaking. Get one.

Okay. Xbox........Expensive, and big, and "PLays DVD's" So what? When it comes to consoles, it is all about the gameS. Xbox's games are unimaginitive. It has few games. Stores are already putting the price down on Xbox because it is just plainly no selling well. GC has plenty of games, IMAGINATIVE Games. GC well have over 50 games by summer aswell. GC's graphics kicks PS2 in the teeth and equals Xbox's but also beats it sometimeS. Overall the best Games Company wins again....."NINTENDO.....with it's spendour that is called GAMECUBE!

All the consoles are just as good as each other! Why the bias!

And I'm sure Halo could look a) the same or b) exceedingly similar on PS2 or GC so tech specs don't matter in the early stages.

Especially if developers can't even use the Xbox to it's full potential anyway.

So lets forget specs, okay!

Let me tell you this, I have been playing a GameCube at my friends house since December 2001 (imported from America) and I don't know how you can even think of comparing it to the X-BOX, I have played JSRF now for over 5 hours and my hands are fine too and I suppose someone who has been playing on the PS2 for that amount of time has come off with hands in good condition. The X-BOX delivers 126 million polygons per second and the GameCube deilvers 12-16 million, LOL! The little touches added to the X-BOX games makes them the difference and the GameCube is just copying most of the PS2 games and adding no extras. Before you start I own an N-64 and an X-BOX and I sold my PS2 for one for the launch date and the X-BOX is by far the greatest console on the market by a long way and it has a very bright future ahead of it. I completed Luigi's Mansion in 4 hours 57 minutes when I stayed over at his house and out of the 5 games he has this is the best and it is a game for 2 year olds! Before you say "well Microsoft wanted the console" they had no plans to do anything ith it just bring out the odd few games that come out on the Nintendo GameCube like Mario and DonkeyKong! This is a fair argument that only one console wins and that is the X-BOX, I can give you the facts if you want but otherwise their is no competition.

on the trench part on the first level , you dont have to kill darth vadar , just brake , so that he flies in front of you , then keep going untill he comes down two more times , then go really fast down the trench , put on the targeting computer so you can see the exhuast thing that you have to blow up and then fire some proton missiles at it , and your done ;-)

SSBM comes out on the 24th (1 week before I move house- it's how I remember) I can't wait!

Tell me, Does Gamecube beat PS2 and XBOX? I'm gonna get a Gamecube on Monday, and I just wanna know. I might only be able to get one game. Which? SW Rogue Leader, SM Ball, Luigi's Mansion or Wave Race. Or should I wait for SSBM?

Oh, and Sonic advenoture 2: battle is the best game ever.
