My knackered old BT Exchange is due to be upgraded this summer to support FTTC under the government BDUK project! :¬)
I've measured my line to the local cabinet and it's around 600m, so I should see around 35Mbps download (up from the current 6Mbps on my longish line).
Can you say when you will be documenting your FTTC offerings on your Broadband page?
In previous forum posts you didn't want to discuss pricing but as FTTC is getting more and more popular I'm hoping you will be publishing some official information soon?
There are lots of competitive packages available so I'm hoping you haven't published details yet as you are still investigating your options.
Thanks,

At the moment migration costs are absorbed so this will probably continue, although I can't say for definite.
If you were already on fttc with us then a package change would probably be fine. It's the length of time you've had the connection, not the package.
Anyway, get in touch via the usual means and we'll be able to provide the necessary info.

Eccles please take a look at my comments when you have a minute.

FTTC is now showing available on my line - thanks to BDUK.
FTTC Range A (Clean) 44.6 / 9.2 -- Available
FTTC Range B (Impacted) 37.8 / 9.2 -- Available
I've updated my previous ticket asking for Freeola's current pricing :¬)

Someone will answer your ticket shortly.
I've just been upgraded :¬)
Quick swap of my old faceplate filter (thanks ADSLNation for years of good service) to the Openreach supplied one - Kelly engineer then connected me up in the cabinet - all done in around 20mins.
Currently getting around 20Mbps down.
BTw checker results:
1. Best Effort Test:
Download Speed : 19.84 Mbps
2. Upstream Test:
Upload Speed : 4.98 Mbps
Your speed test has completed and the results are shown above, however during the test an error occurred while trying to retrieve additional details regarding your service. As a result we are unable to determine if the speed you received during the test is acceptable for your service. Please re-run the test if you require this additional information.
Nice speeds to what I've been used to (connect around 6Mb and see just under 5Mb - profile/overheads) but hoped to be in the 30s at my distance from the cabinet.
As the above results show I'm not able to see my IP Profile etc. so I'll look at this again tomorrow and hopefully more info will be available.
NB. I don't believe you get to see your line sync via this checker when on FTTC but in theory you can work it out by multiplying your IP Profile by 1.033 ;¬)
Still early days so I'll wait to see how things pan out.
I've got a spare ECI modem so guess I'll hack that so I can see the actual line stats - shame Openreach have locked them!
