Jeez, enough with the "No! Not Rare!" posts. Yes Banjo and KAzooie, plus Kameo, COBFD etc are coming out on the Xbox, big deal. It's not like you'll be seeing Donkey Kong on there now, is it? No. Also, Banjo was never really a Nintendo character. When I think of Nintendo, I think of Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, even forgotten Luigi, yet people start complaining about characters that first appeared on the N64.
Let me ask, why? If you think about it, every game that Rare have announced to come out on the Xbox, we already have a similar version. Mario is to Banjo, as Starfox is to Kameo (roughly).
If you look at the games we already have, and the games that are coming out over the next few years, there's no big loss. Really.

Banjo games were too good. The only thing I will miss about Rare. Gah.

in my opinon DK is a loss (i no nintendo have still got him i think) but he will not be the same without the rare logo. and conker is a big loss, i dont know about banjo as i have never played it, it was overlooked in my mind.

donkey kong game is other works...... i read somewhere from nintendo.
I'm still in denial, and there's no point pretending like it doesn't matter, as we were all disappointed Rare left. OK, Chipsy? :)
I'm gutted that Banjo won't be appearing on the GC - I don't see why Rare just couldn't have gone multi-format rather than exclusive to Xbox. Anyway, when Microsoft go bust soon, let's see if Rare come crawling back to Nintendo...
