'In a fresh setback for Microsoft over the weekend, two Japanese electronics retailers suspended sales of its new Xbox games console, dealing another blow to its attempt to crack the Japanese market.'
Now. Microsoft do you get the message. Please go away.
Thanks

P.S It was worth it.
Never know, maybe with all their experience they'll actually realise that third party support is a good idea to have and won't just rely on remakes of Mario Kart, Zelda, etc. If not for Rare and Pokemon, Nintendo would have probably hit the hard rock floor before Sega.
They've got some third party titles coming through, but their gonna need a lot more if their gonna compete with Sony and Microsoft.
Nintendo will always have huge support in Japan, but I think here in the UK and Europe, the N64 might have just done the damage to Nintendo that the likes of the Mega CD and the Saturn did to Sega. After these, Sega unfortunatly never really stood a chance with the Dreamcast, they just couldn't get the crowd back and that led to poor third party support.
Nintendo have got their work cut out for them in my opinion. Sony has a massive following and a head start while Microsoft has a machine that third party developers can easily work with along with Microsofts seemingly endless amount of money. Mario, Luigi and a cutesy new Link might be enough to keep the Japanese happy, but it sure as hell won't satisfy the West.
