Most (maybe all?) of Paganini's stuff is called Caprice 1, 2...24 or something. He was a violinist and he composed loads of stuff. He's well known for being amazingly talented and his stuff is well known for being hard.

His dad used to hit him if he made mistakes when he was little, so he got really good or really beaten up. Or so I read somewhere. But I also read he got his talent from Satan so perhaps these sources are slightly dubious.
