I thought it's Pointless having separate message topics for this debate

So if there's anything you want to get off your chest about consoles, their capabilities, which is better, game reviews, which games are better etc..

PS2 got a HUGE headstart so I think it will very difficult for the other two to catch up. Most of the X-Box games either appear on the PS2 in some shape or form, or simply are not that interesting. Thats not to say however that X-Box and Gamecube have bad games. I just think that people will stick with what they know. ANd they know what the PS2 can really do

PS2 will win due to poularity and to the number of ace games coming out on it!

Well, only time will tell which will be the better console....which i suppose will be decided on sales.

However, in my opinion i think its going to be PS2, its been out for over a year all ready and already has a very large user base as it is, this means that the others consoles are just going to be playing catch up and will be relying on the hard core fans to buy there consoles as well as the people getting two of them. But still, its going to take them a while to catch up with the PS2, and that may have hurt them already.

The X-BoX is not tested, Microsoft have never had a powerful games station, it will need time to adjust but I think majority of UK will stick with PS and Ninti... However I think PS will win as it rocks! as shown with the PSX Vs N64.

The Game Cube wont do aswell, simply because I think Ninti will be re-releasing games which have been out played such as Mario, Donkey kong, Zelda et al

If they can come up with something that can be on the par as MGS 2 then thy may have a chance...

I for one don't think they can..

I think that the Gamecube will win in the short run but the X-box will last longer than its rivals and become the most recognised in the long run.

PS2 wins hands down, has anyone checked out my thread on gamin on ps2?
