I heard a nasty rumour on the radio that the song being released by Popidol "Winner", Will Young, is actually a song that Westlife have already recorded. Is this true? What a ripoff if it is!

It was a song for Westlife (unrecorded as far as I know) that they asked them to give up for the winner of Pop Idol.
It's a shame that Will won in a way, because he's going to be labelled with this 'pop' image.
He is a *fantastic* singer with a great voice, and he deserves to be a much bigger star than 'pop' alone will allow. He's better than most acts in the charts, pop, rock or other, and has the ability and potential to be a major star in his own right, not just because of the show.
I will definitely be buying his album, and I am really looking forward to it.
