I have to say, I am enjoying the fact that the Fantasy League is currently headed by 4 staff members, closely followed by an ex-staffie.

Compared to the rest of the England team, Carroll is a good tackler, and he's supposed to be a targetman/striker. Role sort of gets forced onto him sometimes. In an ideal world, he'd sit up top and Gerrard would constantly be able to hoof the ball to him. As it is, that was the worst performance of the group stages for us. Rooney, as expected, was below average. Gerrard scored for me tonight. Still, good chance to reach the semis this year.
