The game is going to be released in the spring so that leaves a few months to when the actually release date is but I am guessing it should be around when The Ledgend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
The Sims will feature a new mode called "Get A Life". This lets you just get to expireance the big moments of in life, like getting a job , having a family.
This game will be n ot just 1 player but there is a 2 player options to go head to head with building up your charictors life or a co-operative mode in 2 player and this will let you both control the family you are creating.
The sims are great on the pc and are just coming out on the ps2 and soon the GameCube.

thats only because it has about 6 expansions which are £20 each except one which is £50
VC toped the amount sold by miles. the sims is basically a series of games. so if you added up all the gta's "bang" at least 2 times the money
Best selling doesn't equal best game.

It attracts non-gamers because it appeals to their voyeuristic nature.

Ah yes but you say it works on ever ones pc but i got news for you! It don't work on my pc! It isn't just for preteen and non-gaming adults. It is for every age above however old you have to be to beable to use a pc.
It may be tedious and boaring to you but to the billions of people who have baught it it isn't! And plus the cheapest you will find the sims is at £20 in whoolweths!
But it is also incredibly tedious and boring.
