So, the year is soon coming to a close, all the big releases have been lined up and we've had a bumper year.
With huge names from the start, Little Big Planet 2 and Mass Effect 2 in January, Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and Mortal Kombat being just 2 of the games to keep fighting fans happy, Dirt 3, Shift 2 and Motorstorm racing for the finish line and Portal 2 bringing GLaDOS back, this has been a great year for gaming.
But we all know everyone has their own favourite, so what was your Game Of The Year and why? Or are you still waiting for it?
I'll keep this open until the end of the year, just in case you believe Your special game is still just around the corner.

Portal 2 has been my favourite game so far this year, but I'm still waiting for Skyward Sword and hoping it will be my new favourite. That said Skyward Sword is likely to be a christmas/birthday present so I won't know how much I like it till next year >.<
This year I've enjoyed only a few games, some which aren't 2011!
Metro 2033, Fear3, Brink, Homefront (not so much actually, mp was poor) and BF3.
At the moment, I'm going to have to say BF3 ... an excellent sp, excellent co-op and quite awe-inspiring mp ... MoH influence :¬)
