Glad you didn't make it easy for me, and there was plenty of variety in the stories, which made reading through them very interesting - I always like to see so many different takes on a theme.
In the end it was really between two very different stories in terms of tone and content (mine wasn't one of them...) and after a little to-ing and fro-ing I'm going to go for Everpain's 'The Gifthorse's Lament' as my winner.

its my short story so no n iim gonna tlk in internet slang its easier
