Something like this was run over the World Cup here, but this is for the Premier League this season!

go to;
Fantasy Football

Create a team (you can change it about as much as possible before the first deadline)
Once you have your team then on the right hand side, choose leagues.

Join a league with this code;

There is also a Head to Head league, please join both;
248099-137880

This is the Freeola League.

Simple to do and should provide some friendly competition. The only real rules you need to know are that you can only have 3 players from any one team and you can make one free transfer a week, if you want to make more it will cost you 4 points per transfer!

Great penalty, actually in mid-air when he strikes it I think.

I usually have trouble selecting my fantasty squad. I pick a few big names and then fill the rest with absolute dribble that don't score anything. Well I think my most notable player right now is Dirk Kuyt. I've tryed to even the cost across the field. Even my subs are of equal value.

I share this hope, JD had enough trouble scoring penalties when he was taking them normally last year!

Very impressive penalty and it certainly had the keeper well fooled. I look forward to some copy cat efforts in the coming season although hopefully not from my team.

As this is currently our unofficial football thread, anybody see this penalty from Saturday? Incredibly hard to do, but the kid pulled it off well!
