"Is cheating really worth the hassle?"

From what I've learnt, HELL NO! Clever Mr Nice Guy rightly found me out, I copied three reviews from a website. It was totally wrong of me to sink so low and try and win the easy way. Many come on this sight to have the opportunity to win a free game and many just come on for their reward. Wrong! That shouldn't be the case. People should gather here to discuss different topics, some that might make you win! Not topics raised just for winnings sake. This was the stupid mistake I made in the reviews section of special reserve. I cheated. I copied some quite attractive reviews for the chance of winning gameaday! That was totally wrong of me and I admit. I'm now actually thanking Mr Nice Guy and others out there for setting me right, even with, what I found personally, interrogating remarks. From these comments I know that regulars here mean business, so a few words of advice for you newbies. DO NOT CHEAT! No matter how tempted you are, resist and create your own topics/reviews and don't make the damn wrong mistake I did. Copying is for thick losers who can't think of their own contributions, so believe me, DON'T COPY!!!

I think cheating in this sort of way could also be called stealing. There trying to take SR's games for something that they haven't produced. They definately do not deserve anything.

I know I am only a newbie but I think this time he should be let off as I think hes learnt his lesson. If he does again then I think it should be bye bye Mr. reload....

I would just like to point out that you should read the original topic before replying....not just some of the replies. SOme people get the wronfg end of the stick as they don't read the original toic, just the title and if someone reads that without reading the original it can make many people look stupid. I mean, take you for instance....

I know your a n00B and all mate, but I am afraid what you just wrote shows you didn't think that much beforehand. You wrote a post about the title....if you spent a bit of time and read the original post you will see that it isnt about cheating in game, but in fact about cheating by copying reviews.

Man that last "paragraph" was funny. You saying thanks, but saying you doubt he read it when you didnt even read his topic in the first place. Don't make me laugh....oh wait, you just did!

I knew a mate of mine on here that got blocked when the peeps at top found out that he cut bits of other reviews. It's not worth it!

I don't think that cheating is worth it. Sure, it's OK once you have finished a game so you get the extras but cheating to finish a game defeats the whole idea of gaming. Ever had a feeling of satisfaction after getting everything in a game and finishing it? Like Goldeneye. Great isn't it? Cheating to finish it leaves you feeling as though you never really played the game and spoiled the ending cos you missed out on levels that gave you updates on the plot... Miss levels on Goldeneye and you'll never find out why Janus does what he does to Bond...

I think cheating is not worth the hassle because wot is the point if you buy a game and you just cheat ok ii think it is ok if you have completed the game twice over and you are rather board with it then that is ok for many reasons but if you havent even got half way throught the game and you want cheat because you are stuck on a level you are doin yourself no favours(except for getting past it) you are really reckin the joy of games if you have cheats games are meant to be fun and a bit challenging but add cheats and you have rect the concept sorry i had to say this but it is the way i fell about t you can probably tell i fee quite strong abvout it and can someone tell me how not to a newbie wot do u have to do? this is confusin me alot as i am quite dim

No, but i remember newbies being found out that they were cheaters under a past name, and instantly noone liked them.
