The "Freeola Customer Forum" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
I am going to talk to you about an upcoming site which I will own and how you will be able to win product/prizes for free.
The site is not up yet as I am still designing the layout and how it will work. There are no catches.
How it works?
You have to guess a number between (Example: 0-50) Depending on the cost of the prize/product, we have not yet figured out a Cost/Number ratio but when we do you'll be sure to check it out on our site.
You have 1 guess and after that has gone you have to earn your guesses.
How to earn your guesses?
You can do this by referring 3 or 5 friends to our site and when 3 or 5 of them guess you get an extra guess upon the prize/product.
(We're still deciding if it should be 3 people to have to refer to get an extra guess, or 5. Suggestions?)
This is a UK Site, we only ship to uk, we DO NOT ship oversea for obvious reason the cost would be too much.
What can you win?
Well anything really, a £5 / £10 / £20 top up for your phone (Any Network) A Game for any console, your suggestions here would be very greatful for us to realize what various people want/need. Oh did I also mention cash?
Please follow us on the links below.

Please suggest ideas on what prizes/products we should give away.
Thank you for reading and hope to hear from you :)

I'm English..
@Everyone else; The referrel system: You get a referrel link when you first visit the site and you have to refer NEW people to the website and after 3 or 5 (Suggestions ;)) Take a guess at the number you get an extra guess.
Still, the creator's facebook profile is amusing. :p

Thanks for asking these questions;
What am I hoping to achieve from this; well you see all these other sites where they offer all this free stuff for picking an obvious question/answer contest, well I want my idea to be different, simply guess a number between 0-50 (depending on the prize cost). Obviously i'm not doing this for fun, i'm doing this because I have free time. When my site becomes a big success I will be adding Adsense or if you like Adverts to pay for the prizes that I give away, nothing is free right? Well you dont pay nothing you simply help me pay for what I give away just by either clicking an ad on my site ( You dont have to! ) but then that means I will have to give away low cost products/prizes which no one will want; if I havn't cleared anything up please reply in more detail and i'll try to explain the best I can.

May I ask what you mean "a sustainable model" ?

Well perhaps its not fair to so say unsustainable as you've not revealed all the rules. As you've already said though, you've got to monetarise it. If your only source of income is adverts then it seems incredibly difficult to balance when you have to adjust the guessing range not only to account for revenue but also "fun to play". I'm sure you've already done the maths though.

There are no rules lol, you're allowed 1 guess then have to earn more guesses by referring people to the site. If you win a form comes up and you fill in your infomation so I can send the product/prize and also double check the infomation you've sent me is correct.
