But let's face it, although Zelda will be great (and I shall probably be buying it), can it ever be as epic as if it were truely cinematic?
What I would love Shigsy to do would be to create a completely different graphical style.
Let me explain by the use of analogies:
In films there has been a Canadian film made whereby everything is in Soft focus. That is, everything within a couple of metres of the camera looks like it is covered in vasaline, and anything further away is completely blurred- like a monnet painting. That's originality.
In games, Cell shading is a completely new way for games to be depicted. Another great example is Mario 64's use of 3D.
So, why doesn't shigsy go back to basics, and make some kind of graphical system that would truely mix the fantasy element of the game with the powerful engine of the GC.
Let's see what Zelda 128- 2 has in offer!
