"EA's F1 2001"

WOW, anyone seen this game :-D

The graphics look way better than gt3 and although it's a different style of racing this may be better.

The clouds form overhead before it rains, damage is immense,pit stops talk to you or sommin, rain,dust effects,online mode, AI's supposed to be good (something GT lacked) but it's just so real.

anyone else getting this?

It does look brilliant but the EA games have never played as well as the Formula One series.

Formula One 2001 was visually great, lovely sound but was still quite glitchy too often.

I don't think I'll be buying F1 2001 but for anyone who hasn't got Sony's Formula... I'd say this is definitely worth a look. (If only for the Pit babes!!!)

I know what u mean but i think that if you have it on front wing cam then it's easy to handle even with a speedster 2!

I bought it and found the handling was so twitchy that I couldn't get on with it and took it back!
Perhaps I am just to used to GT3 ?

Believe me F1 2001's graphics are as good as GT3's but it runs slightly slower. It's still better than scee's f1 and the ai is better. The damage is still only bit's flying off though and no crumples. There are loads of ace graphical touches too. Rubber marks appear on panels after scrapes with walls and the failers are good. U get oil leaks which mean low revs for u or big engine boom.

Im not really into F1 so none of the games have ever appealed to me, there is too much pit stop action to make it interesting for me.

I got F1 97. Thats enough for me.

Same here - Got Formula 1 2001 so dont need any more!!

I got Sonys F12001 so I aint buying any other F1 games.

Yup. Saw it in the shops today. Didn`t look that amazing. It was certainly PS2 standard, but not top of the bunch.

I haven't played it so can't really comment, but I was impressed :-)
