Well I asked for the forum (or as it happens, name change) and it went ahead, so here I am.

The Megadrive.

Brill i'n't it? I still play mine fairly often - all the classic games like Mega Bomberman, Probotector, Fifas, Street Racer etc.

So to start this topic off, who had or has played the absolute gem, Michael Jackson's Moonwalker?

I used to have that "dance 'em to death" game.

What about Rocket Knight Adventures? Xenon 2 Megablast? Sword of Vermillion? Eswat? Revenge of Shinobi? Crueball?

I've got a Megadrive and about 60 games at home.

I've still got my Megadrive. It's great fun. I went down the Sonic game route and I also got Micro Machines 2 which is great. I found 4 Megadrive joypads a few years back for £2.50 each. One of the best tenners I've ever spent.

For some reason I hardly got any Megadrive games. Probably because I had zero money. I didn't even have Streets of Rage, although I seem to remember renting it a few times.

Does anywhere still sell Megadrive games aside from Ebay?

I played Moonwalker once on rental. Loved Streets of Rage series. Classics. Sonic was my favourite though, oh and Premier Manager. Spent a childhood playing them.

I still own a megadrive 2, its class. I have streets of rage, sonic, shinobi, golden axe, aladdin and a few others i never bought many for it. I know that Gamestation still sell hundreds of old games for any console, if i ever wanted to buy anymore.

Moonwalker was so ironic. Having to save the children, oh it may have seemed sweet at the time...

I have fond memories of Golden Axe. I was never to keen on Shinobi though. I played Aladdin through a couple of times I think at some point.

Did anyone ever play Greendog? If so, cold you ever get past the bit where you were on the subway station level? I don't thing I ever got past that. Very annoying it was.

Does anyone own a copy of Paperboy for the Megadrive? I always found it to rent but could never find it to buy anywhere.

Just thought of another great game. It was called Haunting or something like that. You were a little green ghost and you had to scare a family out of their homes. Excellent fun.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
