Just interested to know what games everyone has and what you think of em.
I'll go first :
Halo - Superb, brilliant, can't say a bad word about it. Roll on H2
Splinter Cell - Thoroughly enjoyed, one of the best games I've played in ages.
MGS2:Substance - Also superb, enjoyed it start to finish. would prefer that gimp raiden was replaced with snake though .....
PGR - One of the finest racers ever. Does it beat Gran Turismo? In some aspects yes, in the 'user-definable' category, no.
SSX Tricky - First snowboard game I've played and very good, very quick, fun to play, great music
Burnout 2 - Not exactly realistic in any way, but if it's arcade thrills you want, this is very good. The overall speed of the game and crashes make it exhilarating. Prefer PGR though.
FIFA 2003 - Very good football game, good fun on one player, but great fun on multiplayer.
Max Payne - A great game, played all the way through as soon as I got it. Ageing a bit I suppose, but still extremely good and one of my favourites.
Mech Assault - Good fun for a while, although the one player does get a little tedious. I need LIVE really to play it properly. Still, not bad.
Morrowind - Played for a few hours, couldn't really get into it. I realise it is a very detailed RPG of the highest quality, but it just didn't grab me. Maybe I'll get into it more in the future.
KOTOR - Very, very good. Welcome to the star wars universe, detailed, user definable, and with a great story. Haven't got far yet, but am enjoying it a lot.
Enter the Matrix - loved it when I got it, after several hours it quickly got repetitive though. Still, the fighting is very good, and I enjoyed all the FMV. Yet to finish.
Ok, that's all I got .....
Splinter Cell - At the moment my second most favourite game on X-Box. Prefer it to MGS2 anyday
Dead or Alive 3 - One of the best looking beat em ups ever. Plays just as good aswell
FIFA 2003 - Probably the best FIFA so far. Actually feels like a proper game of football which is more that can be said about previous efforts.
Buffy - Not played enough yet to really comment about. Could be good
Serious Sam - Great fun. One of the most enjoyable FPS Ive played. Fast and frantic and a real blast
Rallisport Challenge - One of the most realistic rally games so far. Gets bloody difficult though!
Project Gotham - Best racer on the X-Box and one of the best racers ever. Cant fault it at all. Cant wait for the sequel
Jet Set Radio Future - Just as good if not better than the DC original. Original and fun. Up there with the best
Oddworld - Pretty good game. Stays faithfull to the original. Looks amazing aswell
Amped - Another game Ive not really played properly yet.
Midtown Madness 3 - Good if a bit shallow game, fun in quick bursts (cack offline)
Return to Castle Wolfenstein - Same as Midtown Madness, just not as shallow
Unreal Championship - Crap offline, okayish online. Gets boring qucikly.
Ghost Recon Island Thunder - Good online, if a little hard. Offline about as much fun as scraping your sack on a cheese grater.
State of Emergency - see unreal championship, except replace online with multiplayer
Jet Set Radio Future- Excellent game
Halo - Fun the first time through, dull as hell after that
Max Payne - Excellent if a little short shooty fun
Hitman 2 - Favourite offline Xbox game, rocks my socks
Project Gotham Racing - MSR was much better, haven't touched it for months
I've got a few more but I've lost intrest in the list so ummmm they're great.
Halo - As polished as an aristocrat's cueball(?) I'm not a big fan of shooters but this is undeniably great.
Otogi - This would be truly brilliant if the developers hadn't slipped into the same old hack'n'slash mistakes: i.e. too many enemies. "Less is more," mister developer, you stupid priick!!!
Splinter Cell - One of the most immersive games I've played. Although the husky and cynical Sam Fisher is annoying.
Morrowind - Its freedom and vastness make it my favourite game by far.
Jet Set Radio Future - Loved it on the Dreamcast, and it got better on the Xbox. The music drives me round the twist, but you can't have everything.
Max Payne - The gaming equivalent of an abbatoir, or something...
Enclave - Play it with the longbow masters and it is surprisingly brilliant.
Star Wars: KOTOR - It's shaping up to be very good indeed.
I've got other games, but I'll stop.
I'm poor and own a pathetic 4 games (I borrow/rent most of my games ya see)
Halo - Excellent
Project Gotham Racing - Exceptional
Hitman 2 - Excellent
Phantom Crash - Excellent
