On The Wardys "Commentator Comments" thread on my PC it says the last post was at 4:27PM by Judge Thread - a staffie. When I click on the thread to have a read it says the last post isn't by him it's by Cong Man at 1:46PM.

It happened a while back in some of the General Chat things.
I think its because the staffies say stuff and then realised what they said was silly and delete their post, but it comes up as them as the last poster still. Thats my guess.

It was before your time here but most of the older regulars here will remember the staffie Larrykins who posted here. Is an ex-staffie now though.
