i'm going to immediately break law 1, as i havnt played skies...but FFVII was one of the best games i hav ever played..and i expect it is VERY hard to beat....i'll rent skies sometime soon i expect...check it out for myself

better story in my opinion, materia system was awesome, sephiroth is the coolest evil dude ever.

Skies definetly.
Its an RPG don't really see whats wrong with it. Must admit the combat system in KOTOR kicks ass of all other RPG's though and it saves a sheet load of time.
I think skies combat system is a little iffy...
Yes it is. I have finished FF7 and am half way through Skies. Its a better game all round.
