There's rumours flying around that MK64 is on the disk itself, fully, and not the bonus disk. (from a fairly reliable source), we'll have to wait and see, roll on mid November.

But they did that on Super Circuit.

I'd also love to see the original on there. It's still probably my most cherished game ever alongside GoldenEye.
MK64 was good, but I felt the over-reliance on doing speed boosts round every corner got a bit of a pain in the end, and meant younger players found it a little tricky to get the maximum corner speed.
It was great fun, but the original still rules.

As great as Mario Kart 64 was - and still is, to this very day - I'd much rather see the SNES-original Super Mario Kart included on this disc.

It just seems more 'right', to me...
The trouble with Mario Kart 64 is that many people still play it while waiting for the arrival of Double Dash!!, and I bet the majority of those people - like myself - would rather see something 'different', for a change, rather than a game they've already played-to-death, quite recently.

Super Mario Kart was the one that started it all.
It only seems right it should be included with what looks set to be the greatest Mario Kart game for a long-time-coming.

And if you can get the original Metroid game with 'Prime, and not Super Metroid, why should it be any different here?

American Mag EGM have reviewed the game, their scores for the last three Mario Kart games

Super Mario Kart: 9.0, 9.0, 8.0, 8.0 (85.0%)
Mario Kart 64: 9.5, 9.5, 9.0, 9.0 (92.5%)
Mario Kart DD: 10, 10, 10, 9.5 (98.3%)

Bodes well eh.

Hoo, Diddy Kong. That was cool. Not quite MK64, but then again, twas alright.

I liked some of the plane courses, and the big open areas. Twas fun.

The N64 was one of the best ever, just people never realised it.

Mario Kart 64 rullllllles. But, back in the day, I didn't buy it because I was quite happy with the awesome Diddy Kong Racing which I've actually lost now.

I've just realised...this is tragic!

Come to think of it, I much prefer Super Mario Kart to MK64.

MK64 is fun. I still play it to this day, it's like now, I want to go and play it. You see?

If it is, I shall weep with the sheer joy of brilliance that will be that hallowed disc.

Or not. I'd be happy for sure.

Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do. I am delighted.
