I just heard on the radio that it's rumoured Osama Bin LAden as released a statement saying that although he his happy and what happened in America, it was NOT his group that did it.

All rumour at the moment.

Yesterday was the day that as a world we lost our innocence. No longer can people feel safe in their detachment from hostile situations. Yet what is to happen next should scare everyone of us.

The world is becoming increasing polarised into Muslims and Christians. If the United States' attempt to seek justice appears as an act of revenge then the world will be irrevocably changed. As I write Osama bin Laden appears to be the most likely suspect for the attack. If it is he, or for that matter any other Islamic terrorist, then America must tread very carefully in seeking justice. An attack on the Hardline Muslim state of Afghanistan, where bin Laden is being protected, could lead to a massive confrontation involving many other Muslim countries. This would be a war that America could never hope to win. There is no American willing to become a suicide-bomb for his country, whereas I am sure there are enough Islamic extremists to detonate a nuclear bomb in every major US city. If America does not act neatly and thoughtfully in bringing to justice those responsible for the bombing then they will find themsleves on the route to absolute destruction.

The routes of the problem lie with America, however. Ever since the cold war the world has been on this track. Perhaps America, in its struggles with Russia did not see the consequences for the future. If the group behind the attack resides in Afghanistan the America does have some responsibility. When the USSR invaded Afghanistan it was th Americans who armed the Afghan rebels, even with Stinger rocket launchers. After the Russians wer defeated the bitter civil war began, using the US weapons, which culminated in the Taliban regime coming to power. If the Americans are as myopic as they have been in the past we will see even greater atrocities in the future. Now it is time for a measured response involving international cooperation and support. We cannot afford for an escalation in the current tensions.

Given the potential for nuclear apocalypse if America botches its quest for justice, perhaps, dare I say it, it is even time to turn the other cheek. If justice becomes revenge who knows where it is going to end.

Forget about the useless piece of t**d. He's obvioously a 'whittless' individual getting kicks out making shocking, attention seeking comments.

Don't let, him, screw this post, and let the fool be. We all know how we feel, feeling sorry for the victims and feeling sorry for the naive terrorists who committed such a pointless deed. What are you trying to achieve? The consequence is just endless hatred for your black heart!

I think I speak for all of us for a ban on Corleone!

Do you really need it spelling out to you? Thousands of people have died, innocent people.

And that justifies the deaths of innocent people? I don't think so. America may not be perfect as a country, far from it as fact, but that really doesn't mean that thousands of people deserve to die in an act of terrorism, does it?

or all the countries he has bombed and

but no mind, eh?

It's not like the world stood by and watched this happen. It was put a stop to - eventually. It's not like Slobadon Milosovic is still doing these things - he can't anymore.

all these

You're talking crap. Nowhere did Longy say anything of that sort in his post. It's a disaster, it would be just as much of a disaster if thousands of people were killed in a terrorist attack in the Middle East, or anywhere else in the world. So stop with you're nonsense. You may not care about this, or about the thousands dead, but many do.

Yes well, you

Bah. Go away you pathetic individual. Your stupid 'shock tactics' don't impress anyone here. You pathetic little runt.
