I rarely buy PS2 Mags these days. Most of the info can be found on the internet, and the only time i do buy one is for a game that might be on the DVD and such. I find it saves alot of money too, rather expensive magazines these days.

Get the Official PS2 Mag for the reviews and demos. Find there reviews to be fair and better than some. Also get PSW for the free DVD and occasionaly pick up PSM2

I kinda gave up buying Mags ages ago. Most were really bad (boring reviews), although i do from time to time get The Official Ps2 mag if there is anything good in it. It really depends on what I'm looking for.

I left school in '88 so I'm obviously a bit older than you.
Your right about some mags being really old, it's a pain when they have a issue number on the cover instead of a month :( but top tip for the day, flick to near the end of the mag and see when the "next issue" is on sale.
PS2 mags aren't great from there but Xbox and Cube ones are more upto date.

I buy Play and have done for god knows how long although it really is a pile of rubbish now with the new changes. *Bring back PLAY TV you muppets, i don't need a disc full of cheats. I'm actually able to finish a game by myself*

I used to buy Playnation as well but that disappeared off the face of the earth without a trace. Anyone know where it went?

Hey, i live in Chelmsford too, how old are you? Do you still go to school? I used to go to that part of the market quite often but the women who runs the stool doesn't seem to be getting stock as often as she used to, and there's mags from around 10 months ago still on the shelves.

I'm subscribed to Play. But don't do that, because it sucks balls. Big hairy worringly lumpy balls that drip.

And I buy NGC most months, am getting a subsciption for Christmas. Perhaps.
