I've got another PC on a network in my house and was wondering if there was anyway to host an online server and have the other computer connect purely through the LAN and not have to use the net connection at all.
So PC 1 would be the server and other players connect to it through my broadband and PC 2 would connect to that server through the LAN.
Any help would be brilliant.

It is plain and simple.
To be honest I always preffered ICQ but no one ever used that so I had to move onto MSN. IRC's the best though, even if it's not technically a messenger. Oh and it works again now. Yay.
