I've got another PC on a network in my house and was wondering if there was anyway to host an online server and have the other computer connect purely through the LAN and not have to use the net connection at all.
So PC 1 would be the server and other players connect to it through my broadband and PC 2 would connect to that server through the LAN.
Any help would be brilliant.

Use the Create LAN option?
the host sends information of it being an internet server, so the other computer, regardless of a LAN connection, still has to go to the online server.
