SFX has just posted the first 3 episode details from the new Doctor Who series for 2010.

Episode 1: "The Eleventh Hour" (by Steven Moffat) to be shown 3rd April 2010

Episode 2: "The Beast Below" (by Steven Moffat)

Episode 3: "Victory of the Daleks" (by Mark Gatiss)

Personally, I think Gatiss + Daleks = great episode.

The game explains it better, they're colour coded as to the job they do, basically designated jobs from the moment they are created.

I sunk deep into my seat at this point cringing to the max. Old school Daleks can't feel mercy. Davros removed anything human (or should I say Kaled) from the Daleks during their creation. I guess you could try explaining it all, but it just sucks.

Yes, but the Dalek realised that humans feel mercy and urged River to express it.

And aren't these Daleks still from the batch that were created from humans? Or from Davros's own flesh. Either way, they're not 'original' Daleks by any means.

Besides, the whole lack of emotions was from Genesis which technically happened before even First Doctor adventures like The Chase that showed something similar.

But they are clones of the ones who were left...

I'm sure that's not true, from what I remember the device was a remnant of the original creation of the Daleks and, as such, included 'pure' Dalek DNA from which the new breed were made. The Davros-Daleks couldn't activate it since their DNA wasn't Dalek, which is why they needed The Doctor.

This page seems to agree with me

Will have to re-watch it, missed that. Though removal of emotions isn't necessarily part of the mix.
