*remembers people like hedfix and such and such*
dont think i can come back to my old posting ways eh? I'll show you people with green names. I'll show you good.
like i said, feel free to post at both, don't let anyone's blinkered opinions of the place put you off.
and whatever reasons hedfix got banned for, there's no denying he then decided to tell tony that the side hosted child porn to get it taken off the servers, as mature as he ever was.
> i think you can see why hedfix is to be ignored.
Yeah stick your fingers in your ears and go lalala. I speak the truth. Want some more? Read on.

Indeed, the rival site is a great laugh, but for all the wrong reasons.

Actually I believe I started a provocative thread about what did and did not constitute dodgy images of children and referenced the particular image on 'the rival site' which had made me consider where the lines of 'decent' and 'indecent' were drawn on the internet. I looked up the law on the BBC website and it was very vague and open to interpretation.
As I see it a baby being filmed 'humping' a doll could be viewed in some circles as obscene. Personally I thought it was quite funny but then I looked at how the footage was presented and the presentation was basically 'all wrong' and certainly did make me think twice about what constitutes an indecent image involving kids.
As it stands I think that sites should probably (I..)er on the side of caution and that anything trying to combine the topics of 'sex' and 'kids' even in the lightest most jovial way (that picture of the little girl sitting on the Donald Duck ride for instance) is certainly worthy of discussion by the mods and owners of the site as to it's accepability and whether it is in keeping with the humorous tastes of their site(s).
In short: it's a touchy subject for most site owners (bad choice of words?)
Funnily enough the Admin of the rival site did (I..)er on the side of caution and deleted the image. So I guess it wasn't quite as clear cut as you'd like to portray it. :D
Infact the whole thing was an interesting discussion but surely would have got me banned from 'rival site' for mentioning it whilst still being a poster on the rival site while there was more fun to be had.
Once banned there was little to prevent me posting about the image so the subject was then completely open for discussion as far as I was concerned.
P.S. yes it was both a very funny and interesting discussion. Although I was warned away from it as Freeola was in uber-'tube-ban'mode. :)
If I win a GAD for this post I think I'll eat one of my socks. :D
my point is, there's no need to constantly insult that "rival" site as you call it, you can say all you want about the pathetic student thread but i must say it's more personal than most of the stuff here. i could tell you a lot about every regular poster there, it's got a really strong community feeling. here there are a few personal posts like the one about the baby but most of it isn't really about anything, the pepsi or coke thread for example.
if you don't want to post on pm then don't, but don't put off other people from posting there for no reason other than petty spitefulness.
From the first day I joined the rival site I would mention it wasn't much to my liking in it's current state and generally went about speaking my mind since there really wasn't any reason not to. It was a ruleless mess and it still is which to me makes it really rather boring as I like thngs like the minor little quips we get about Freeola ('those damn cheat winners!!!11' for example) but there's nothing really like that over there.
Infact the days of 'tubes' were hilarious come to think of it. :D
Anyway...
I'm giving my opinion on the site. Perhaps you're reading my comments wrongly because I've been saying people should go and view it.
Now they might like to go and view it for alternate reasons than for what the creators and users of the site might like them to but that really is up to them.
most people don't have a problem with a lot of you here anyway, i couldn't care less if most of you migrated there. in your case, you'd probably get banned but most others would be accepted.
Anyway they already banned me twice in the same day... didn't work, then some poor fool got banned in my place. :D
People who can't take a joke should definitely stay over there though.... seriously. ;)
