Right, this is what I've been told is the status:

B = Very high grade
C = High grade
D = Average
E = Below average
U = "A corpse could score more!"

The reason there isn't an A is because it's the intermediate one.

Result Stuff
Test number 1 (i & ii)

Taken on the 7th Nov 2006
Result on the 18th Jan 2007: B (66 marks)

Test Number 2 (i & ii)
Taken on the 8th Mar 2007
Result (Can't remember dateor marks): B

Test Number 3 (i)
Taken on the 4th June 2007
Result: TBC

Test number 3 (ii)
Taken on the 11th June 2007
Result: TBC (Along with overall result)

I will update when necessary.

bsc business information systems.

Its more assignments. Have dab at all sorts of things, social aspects of systems, project management, website development, IT law, business management, coding (java,SQL etc etc), e-commerce, HCI and a few more.

I could have done networking, but the whole of BIS defected to do something else. We didn't want to be networkers in life.

Last semester time table was horrible for us. Yeah we only had to come in once a week, but it was from 9.00 am - 6.00 pm. Thanks to the massive gap in between the mornings and afternoons.

I too am at uni, and thank god the modules we've got don't have exams in them. 100% coursework and the highest mark to get an A is only 70%. I just hope that the next semester (starting next week) doesn't have any exams. I've already got a dissertation to sort out. Only another 5500 words to go before i reach my word limit!

I guess i can probably write up to 7000 words before i am truly stumped on what to do next.

I went off coursework last year. My AS-Level ICT coursework was graded A at school, and was moderated won to C by the exam board as they were apparently under pressure to be meaner with the marks... minus 25% of my marks, the overall grade went down from B to C. So getting the B I need this year may be a bit harder than initially planned!

i agree, courses where course work is the key is great. Exams put too much pressure or it becomes a luck based game if you did a half arsed job at revision. Or you didn't start revising throughout the term.
