Both are action movies with plots that borrow heavily from other movies in the genre.
Both are very special effect oriented.
Both feature actors that are generally not known for their great acting. (Except maybe Laurence Fishbourne).
So, what's the difference?
Carrie Ann Moss in PVC, and Lawrence Fishburn (sp?) with little round sunglasses.
Satan squatted, let out a loaf and they stuck a title on it.
You made your 14 million Mikey, hit the road
The best thing to do, I think, is to stop for a second, relax, take a step back and look the movie again...
oh yes, Forrest Gump, piece of ****.
:)
I just found that movie offensive.
I'm not saying it was, but just how it was to me.
I don't claim to be right, movies are all about personal interpretation.
ALthough when reading it i could see understand your point of view (see below my opinion of the same events.)
Dont get me wrong i thought you did make some valid points i spose it just depends how you look at it

He loves the army his whole family has forever been in the army and have proud traditions

Wouldnt you if you felt youd let your family down, had your legs blown off (possibly other bits)and fought for a country thats seems not to give a damn.
The way lt dan comes to terms with his disability is quite "moving" i spose you could say.
>Bubba (ethnic character) is killed.
A lot of vietnam soldiers were black if i remember correctly
and they fought for there country as hard as any white man
i think the film shows this in some ways (its been a while since i watched it)

She may have been peacefull and but was also in to heavy duty shall we say "partying" (s,d,r+r, make love not war) as were many protestors back then
(she is a hippie in the film no?)
My history is peaced together from documentarys etc my apologies for any inacuracies
"We're going to crash!"
"In about 4 days!"
Pathetic.
Bill & Ted rocked, Point Break was ok, The Matrix was fun, Speed was..well..a movie about a bus..
He was certainly better in The Matrix than in Speed, for example.
It was just good fun.
A reasonably intelligent script, and Carrie Ann Moss in skintight PVC.
Meka raised a point about the agents looking like geeks.
I liked that, the fact that these dudes ruled the Matrix and didn't need to be enormous threatening guys.
