"Who do you use in Melee?"

Hi, this is my first topic I've ever created, and I just wanted to know who everyone uses! As for me, I bought this game a couple days after the release and started with Young Link, but ended as my best player to this day. I went through and era of Young Link, Fox, Shiek then Marth, and am still Marth to this day! I have yet to be beaten with him too, and I would like to play somebody else who'll actually give ma a challenge! Anyways, here's the top 3 characters that I use:

1.Marth
2.Sheik
3.Falco

Who do you use? Thanks and later, oh and, Marth is the best! (IMO)

I tend to use Kirby or Marth if I remember.

I always use Samus

I use Roy almost all of the time, (and I really hope nobody goes off on a rant about the usage of Marth or Roy by crap players) the 1 on 1 battles my brother and I have as Marth and Roy can be very fun to play (no items, only skill allowed(just dont tell anyone he almost always beats me....))
My second choice is always Ness, he's very powerful and fun to use, if a little tricky on small levels with thin holes.....
Then it's about even between Link, Dr Mario, DK and Kirby.

Samus.

DK also ruled in the N64 original but Melée watered down the effectiveness of the throw attacks, so he's only a shadow of his 64bit self.


I like Zelda/Sheik but they'll take some mastering.

Ness is good too. :-)

I only use Luigi and the Link's now, i've had it since it first came out so i've now honed my abilities into just 2 characters.

3. Yoshi

Although i haven't unlocked all charachters and now,well, cant be bothered to

I totally forgot about Yoshi!

He is by far the best, top 3...

1) Yoshi

2) Captain Falco

3) Samus

This is my Top 3 from the N64 version.
