Right all wires are plugged in im online and im on a compatable server but still Xbox cant connect to Live. Iv'e made sure im using a crossover cable so basicly I have no idea whats wrong. Any ideas?

My glass shattering fists remember ICS and the hours of sheer agony trying to get the f'ker to pick up the connection. What OS are you running? I take it you use a USB Modem up to your PC?

Have you run the connection wizard (set up a home or small office network) on your PC?
Make sure both the pc and the xbox share the same network name. E.g MSHOME or HOME.

If it's Windows ME you are probably screwed.
Also AOL is apparently a swine to get working with Live.
I didn't realise it worked at all with them yet.
